The 2020 2 oz Australian Silver Kookaburra Coin is a brilliant uncirculated release from the Perth Mint, struck from 62.2 grams (2 troy ounces) of .9999 fine silver. This legal tender coin marks the 30th anniversary of the Kookaburra series and comes encapsulated directly from the mint. No fixed mintage applies, making it a popular choice among collectors and investors alike.
The obverse features the original 1990 kookaburra design by Dr. Stuart Devlin, showing a kookaburra perched on a tree stump. Inscriptions include “30th Anniversary,” the weight, purity, year, and Perth Mint “P” mintmark—an homage to the series’ heritage and wildlife artistry.
